Why do these two folks need to YELL at us? These two individuals make me go Grrrrrr. I have to turn the channel as soon as a commercial comes on about them or I am actually on the channel when they appear.
I know that the really believe that they need to scream and look so distressed, but give me a break.... I am educated and am a corporate retiree and I DO NOT need to be yelled at by anyone. Yes, you can be passionate about a bunch of things, but screaming only turns viewers off... at least it does me... anyone else in my boat? Get a life... report your findings... give us your views... and move on..... Why HLN keeps these two Yo-Yos employed... I have no idea.....

What makes me go Grrrrr about School Zones
I truly believe that I am the ONLY person in my town that obeys School Zone speed limits! Not only does my town have them marked well, but for the most part, all have the flashing lighted signs that come on during the hours of the School Zone when the speed limit is in effect.
Before I enter the speed zone (with the School Zone lights flashing) I start my reduction in speed to get to the 25 MPH of the School Zone. It never fails, I am the only one that slows down! The folks behind me shake their fist at me, call me "number one", and sometimes even flash their headlights at me and honk! I'm tired of it! I even wrote the City Police Chief and the County Sheriff and complained. I did receive very courteous responses from both, with promises to post officers and to do a better job at patrolling these areas, but was surprised to find out that the officers that are scheduled for patrol of the schools are not equipped with radar units.... amazing!
The other day, while driving on a 4 lane road, and entering a flashing School Zone, I was honked at by a man about my age (middle aged). He zoomed past me on my left and I honked back at him. We both ended up at a traffic light, still inside the School Zone. He rolled his window down and shouted at me as to why I was going so slow. I advised him that it was a 25 MPH School Zone... and he looked at me and responded "Do I look young enough to have kids in elementary school?".... I was dumbfounded... had no ability to even think of a comeback... and he sped away.
Soooooo, this is what makes me go Grrrrrr in School Zones.... folks who DO NOT obey the speed limits of them! By the way, since my letters to the Police Chief and Sheriff, I have yet to see any patrollmen anywhere near the School Zones... guess they don't care either!

What makes me go Grrrrr about the Today Show
OK..... here is my first post!
What makes me go ‘Grrrrrrrr’ about the Today Show
First of all, let’s start with the BAB (Big Ass Banner) on the bottom 1/3 of the screen. Why in the world do I need a banner blocking 1/3 of my screen? Many times I cannot even see what they are discussing or showing.
Put your little feathered bird in one small corner and call it good.
Next, do you ever feel like you are on a treadmill going 100 MPH watching the Today Show?
Case in point, one morning Natalie was trying to interview Alicia Keys and had to cut her off because they ran out of time for the interview!! This happens ALL THE TIME on this show. Just before the interview, they had a story on “dumb hobbies” and spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME on a segment on “aircraft flight watching”, not worthy of showing in the first place.
I am tired of putting up with the Today Show producers not giving enough time to segments and having to skim through them. I can only imagine how these guests feel to be brought in at the crack of dawn and then get their 2 minute segment cut down to 53 seconds! Like, “hey… don’t ask me ever again to do this!”
Now it is time to discuss some of the crew.
Matt and Meredith can stay for sure. They are the best of any morning show anywhere.
Al, on the other hand, has gone from a good weatherman to a silly person that adds no value.
Replace Al with Janice Huff and be done with it!
OK, I know that there are Willard Scott fans out there, but he seems to be drinking on the job as sometimes he cannot even pronounce some basic words and seems to be slurring… and tipsy!
Ann Curry and Lester can move to the news shows for good. They do a great job with news and documentaries, but add no value to the Today Show and are a pain to watch.
Let Natalie take over Ann’s part of news anchor… she is versatile and fun and does a good job.
The same with Amy Robach… she is wonderful, so move her to the M-F shows or at least make her the lead for Sat and Sun.
We can do without Jenna, she is cute, but way too silly and provides no value to the show.
If the Today Show producers make these changes, you will have a wonderful team and show… however leave it as is and watch the other networks take over the viewers… as I have already made the jump… too many ‘grrrrrrrs’ to make me want to stay with the show!
